Breakthrough win at #FALS in Preparation for PDC

After winning on opening night late March at Browntown, IN Speedway we have had a lot of success, but failed to get back into victory lane until this past weekend at Fairbury. We had experimented some the early part of the season at Fairbury and found some good setups we took on the road for the UMP Summit Modified Nationals and American Modified Series Tour. The busy schedule allowed us to find tune those base setups and coming home this past Saturday we had an extremely fast Bob Pierce Race Car powered by Friedman Racing Engines and Champion Spark Plugs.

After racing 11 of the UMP Summit Modified Nationals, I finished 4th in the series points just behind NASCAR Legend Ken Schrader and just ahead of NASCAR's Kenny Wallace. I failed to win one of the prestigious trophies, but competed up front almost every night on tour.

On July 12th, we jumped into the American Modified Series points lead with an impressive 17th to 3rd run in my first ever visit to Western Kentucky Speedway in Nebo, KY. I currently hold a 60 point cushion, but will miss the next event as we prepare for this weekend Prairie Dirt Shootout/Classic. The AMS Series picks back up for me Labor Day Weekend for a Triple-Header at Farmer City, Fairbury, and Spoon River. Until then we will be staying local to Fairbury to accumulate some regional and national points. After Labor Day weekend it will be full focus toward the American Modified Series Points Championship with just 3 races remaining. Check out the schedule page for all up to date information.
